Okarche responded from its longest layoff of the season with its best shooting performance.The Warriors made 10 3-pointers and shot nearly 70 percent from inside the arc Tuesday as they dominated visiting Cordell 90-49.

Wrestling Royalty Crowned at KHS

Erika Mercer and Isaac Long were crowned Kingfisher High School’s 2021-22 wrestling homecoming queen and king during a ceremony held Thursday night at the APB. The night served as both homecoming and senior night for KHS. After the ceremony, the Yellowjackets defeated 4A No.

The absence of the McNulty twins was not a problem for at least one night.Dover got a monster night from Katelyn Harviston on Tuesday in a 62-29 victory at home against Medford.The Lady Longhorns were down two starters as both Kamree and Karlee McNulty missed the game due to illness.

Red-hot Ott leads Raiders

Kelby Ott lit up the nets and the Okeene Whippets as Lomega won its third straight game.Ott scored 21 points on seven 3-pointers as the Raiders downed Okeene 69-35.The win moved Lomega to 9-4 as they won for the fifth time in six games.

Cashion home opener offers pair of wins over OBA

Oklahoma Bible Academy played Cashion at the wrong time.The Wildcats had their home opener last Tuesday and blasted the visiting Trojans 65-37.The game was even more lopsided than the score as Cashion entered the fourth quarter with a 62-16 advantage.

Eagles grab conference wins at Crescent

Hennessey officially has a win streak.The Lady Eagles won their second straight game Tuesday with their 59-35 victory at Crescent.The first half of the streak came Dec. 14 against Harding Fine Arts, which was Hennessey’s final game before the winter break.

If the Kingfisher girls basketball team had a post-holiday tournament letdown, it wasn’t apparent.Fresh off their consolation championship at the Mustang Holiday Classic, the Lady Jackets pummeled Chickasha 59-25 Tuesday at the APB.
