Lomega athletes earn medals in 3 events

Lomega had five athletes combined to medal in three events and score 21 points in the Class A state track and field meet at Western Heights High School.The Lady Raiders’ showing placed them in a tie for 13th in the team standings.Kate Myers medaled twice for the team.

Cashion girls 3rd in loaded 2A field

Hennessey’s Camdyn Richardson was named an Oklahoma Cross Country & Track Coaches Association (OCCTCA) 2025 Class 3A Senior All-Star. Richardson was the honoree in the boys long jump.

Wood makes Dover history

Dover junior Sam Wood officially punched his ticket to the Class 2A state golf tournament, but had to sweat it out as other golfers finished up their second round.Wood followed his opening-round 75 with a 76 at Idabel Country Club early Wednesday evening to finish at 11-over-par 151 for the day.

Oologah halts Lady Jackets run in quarterfinals

Oologah was as good as advertised. The Lady Mustangs are the 2024 Class 4A state soccer champions and entered Thursday’s Class 3A quarterfinal with Kingfisher with a 15-0 record and just four goals surrendered all season. Make it 16-0.
