Micky Jones
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Micky Garland Jones, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.
Micky left this world peacefully on May 1, 2026, at his home in Oklahoma City after bravely facing complicated heart issues. He was 67 years old.
Born on Dec. 4, 1958, in the town of Kingfisher, Micky was the beloved son of Joy Ross Jones and Juanita Fern Frasier. From a young age, Micky exhibited a zest for life and a love for the community that would characterize his journey through the years.
Micky dedicated much of his life to his career in the oil field industry, where his hard work and unwavering dedication led him to the role of consultant. His colleagues respected him for his expertise, integrity and the genuine camaraderie he brought to every project.
Micky’s career was not just about work; it was about building relationships and leaving a legacy of excellence.
Away from his professional life, Micky was a huge fan of Oklahoma University football. His passion for the game was infectious and each August his excitement for the start of the football season was his most favorite time of the year.
Those who were fortunate enough to watch a game with him will remember his contagious enthusiasm and the joy he found in every touchdown and victory.
Micky’s life was rich with love and family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Marsha Faith Jones, who stood by his side through life’s trials and triumphs. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter and treasured memories.
Micky was a proud father to his daughter, Desiree Jones, and two sons, Matthew and Joshua Jones. He took great joy in watching his children grow and flour-ish, each becoming a testament to his unconditional love and guidance.
His legacy continues through his sister, Tamara Jones.
Micky was a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren, whose lives he touched with warmth and wisdom, and a great-grandfather to one, who brought him great joy.
Micky was preceded in death by his father, Joy Ross Jones; mother Juanita Fern; and brother Joy (Butch) Ross Jones Jr.
Visitation for Micky will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Sanders Funeral Service.
Thefamilyinvitesfriends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Micky’s life at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 12. The service will be held at Kingfisher Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Micky’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit, kindness and passion for life will forever be remembered and cherished.
