Opal Marie Dodd passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on Sept. 7, 2020, at Bradford Village in Edmond. Opal was born Aug. 25, 1937, in Okarche to George Hiner Biby and Eva Fisher Biby. She married R.L. Dodd in Enid on Nov. 5, 1955.

Jackie ‘Jack’ Reynolds

Jackie “Jack” Barnett Reynolds, 74, of Guthrie, brother of Richard Reynolds of Kingfisher, passed away Aug. 21, 2020, in Norman. He was born on March 23, 1946, in Fort Worth, Texas. Jack was a member of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam.

Susan Kloeppel Brown passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Fla., with her husband by her side. She was 52 years old. Susan was born Sept. 26, 1967, to Albert and Mary “Ann” Kloeppel of Kingfisher.

Betty Jewel Perdue Triplett, 94, died Sept. 4, 2020, at Villagio Senior Living in Oklahoma City. Betty was born in Kingfisher on July 31, 1926, and she was a lifelong resident of Kingfisher County. She was married to Charles Triplett of Kingfisher for 59 years until his death in 2004.

LeaEtta Marguerite Southwick Duffy was born to William Alonzo and Caroline Florence (Wrobbel) Southwick on June 27, 1923, in Grant, Neb. She grew up on the family farm southwest of Kingfisher. She departed this life for eternal rest on Sept. 4, 2020, in Denton, Texas.

Joy Ellen Canon was born Sept. 3, 1931, near Calumet, the daughter of Edward Loy and Edith (Andersen) Spear. An elementary school teacher, her career took her to Hutchinson, Kan., and later, while working for the Department of Defense Dependent School System, to Okinawa, Japan, and Ulm, Germany.
