Annual Legion service slated

The Keith Lowry-Henry Ellyson Post 5 of The American Legion will present its annual Memorial Day Service at 11 a.m. Monday, May 31, at Kingfisher Cemetery, Commander Joe Bliss announced. Bliss will serve as emcee and speaker for the event.

As visitors pour into Kingfisher Cemetery for the Memorial Day Weekend, volunteers from Memory Lane, as always, will be there to help. At least two volunteers will be on hand at the Memory Lane gazebo (just east of the cemetery entrance) beginning 8 a.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Monday (Memorial Day).
