Aaron DeLaTorre got the best of Cordell yet again. The Kingfisher sophomore scored five goals last Saturday as the Jackets beat Cordell 12-2 in the final game of the Eagle Classic soccer tournament in Weatherford.

Kingfisher hosts Chisholm in 1st tennis duel of season

Kingfisher’s boys swept their opponents Tuesday in the 2021 tennis season opener. KHS won all four boys matches while Chisholm won six of the seven girls matches in a duel at Shaw Park. Maverick Ridenour and Nathan Smalley took care of singles wins for the Jackets.

Tristun Burnham has his first official win of his high school career. The Kingfisher High School sophomore on Thursday shot a 1-overpar 71 at Cedar Valley Golf Club’s International course. The medalist performance came in the 11th annual John Marshall Golf Tournament.

Technology center students planning for life after graduation and businesses looking for new employees will be able to meet virtually, thanks to Oklahoma CareerTech’s virtual job fair. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7.
