The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: December 28, 11:15 a.m. - At 902 S. 13th St. Myra Jones, 68, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Lincoln, was southbound in the outside lane of South 13th Street.

Thunderstorms bring needed rain

Derrick C. Sigl, 48 died Sunday, January 17th, 2021 at his home in Kingfisher. Derrick was born Dec. 6, 1972 to Bill Sigl and Linda (Sigl) Westfahl. He graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1991.

Betty Lea Bower

Betty Lea Bower was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Okarche to Fred and Susie Kordis. She passed away Jan. 22, 2021, at the age of 88, at her residence in Oklahoma City. Betty was in Kingfisher and graduated from Kingfisher High School. She attended business school in Oklahoma City.

Vincent Edward ‘Ed’ Scott

Vincent Edward Scott died January 20, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Ed was born May 16, 1968, in Oklahoma City where he was raised and lived in Kingfisher for 23 years.
