Shirley Ella Hamilton was born April 17, 1959, the youngest daughter of Esther AmericanHorse and Albert Master Hamilton. She died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at the age of 61. Shirley graduated from Kingfisher High School.

Marjorie Bryan

Marjorie Louise (Smith) Bryan was born Nov. 15, 1930, and she passed away peacefully at her home in Hennessey on Dec. 19, 2020. A memorial service will be held later in the spring so that her loving family and dear friends can celebrate her long and blessed life. Marjorie was born in Atlanta, Kan.

COVID cases continue to climb

Kingfisher County COVID-19 cases increased by 34 in the last two weeks, County Emergency Management Director Steve Loftis advised county commissioners Monday. Loftis reported a total of 183 active county cases as of Monday’s meeting, compared to 149 at their last meeting on Dec. 14.

Thursday deadline for tax payment

County Treasurer Robin Rother reported that 30.85 % of Kingfisher County’s ad valorem tax bill had been paid as of Monday. Total collections totaled $12,738,590.50 of the total abstract certified for collection — $41,289,887.00.
