Melissa Lawson Biller, 55, Okarche, died April 1, 2020. She was born Feb. 23, 1965, in Chapel Hill, N.C., to Ken and Linda Watts Lawson. She was raised in Atlanta, Ga., New Orleans, La., Dallas, Texas, Destin, Fla., and Okarche.

OSDH tests 36 at fairgrounds

Results had not yet been returned Friday from 36 COVID-19 tests administered Wednesday at a drive through site set up by the county and state health departments at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

Plasma sought from recovered patients

The Oklahoma Blood Institute is now collecting convalescent plasma from donors who have recovered from COVID-19, part of an experimental initiative approved by the Food and Drug Administration to test the product in treatment of seriously ill patients.
