Dershowitz on Trump phone call to Ukraine: ‘So what?’

In what some say was essentially a promotional press release for John Bolton’s book, The New York Times reported on Sunday that the former national security adviser will claim that President Donald Trump tied aid to Ukraine to an alleged promise by the country’s leaders to investigate the Bidens.

Happy Homemakers hold January meeting

The Happy Homemakers OHCE met Jan. 13. Amy Tollison, president, called the meeting to order and led the flag salute. The devotion was read by Carol Liles. The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved. Susan Haynie and members are going to help with door prizes and baskets.

Clifford ‘Cliff ’ Staude

Clifford “Cliff” Rudolph Staude was born Oct. 5, 1926, on a farm near Loyal to Rudy and Amanda Wehrenberg Staude. He entered into his eternal rest Jan. 27, 2020, at the age of 93. He lived in Oklahoma City until moving to the VA Center in Clinton in June 2019.

Nora Jo Larson

Nora Jo Larson of Eakly passed away in Lubbock, Texas, on Jan. 28, 2020. She was 98 and named by her grandchildren as Jo Jo and later Ju Ju. Born July 1, 1921, in Nashville, Ark.

Dr. Samuel Hendrix III

Dr. Samuel B. Hendrix, III, of Norman, left this life on the Winter Solstice, Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at 72. He was born in Kingfisher on Jan. 10, 1947, to Lt. Col. Samuel B. Hendrix, Jr., and Ina Mae Noel Hendrix.
