A local family’s quest to use steer wrestling to benefit the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation hits its ninth year Sunday, May 5. The ninth annual Cross Family Benefit will begin at 1 p.m. at the Kingfisher Roundup Club Arena. The event includes a steer wrestling jackpot, raffle and auction.

Dover Public School Foundation recently awarded more than $9,000 in grants to Dover teachers.

The Hennessey Legacy Foundation will host a dinner Wednesday, May 8 to announce the start of the foundation and the receipt of its first $10,000 donation. The 6 p.m.
