I was very excited for this year’s season, therefore, I was extremely disappointed when it was canceled. I had been consistently throwing the discus in practice past my last year’s record, which made me excited as I faced this coming season. I also always enjoy spending time with my team every year and I’ve missed my last chance to do that.

Since my football season got cut short due to an injury, I was really confident in the place I was at knowing that we were going to have a good team this year. I was disappointed when I heard it was canceled knowing that I was pushing myself at practice to get back into the shape I was in - along with my teammates - to be our best. Also, it was more disappointing knowing that it was my last year to go out and have fun with my teammates.
