Dover’s slowpitch softball team traveled to Mason on Wednesday for a Class B district tournament and came home with the championship plaque. Dover Senior Joi Caldwell (seated) will head north to continue her basketball career. Caldwell last Tuesday signed to play for Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa during a ceremony with teammates, classmates, coaches, family and friends.

Hennessey Farmerettes gather for April regular meeting

The Hennessey Farmerettes met April 10 at the Hennessey First Christian Church for its monthly meeting.Prior to the meeting, members made arts and crafts to donate to the Hennessey Library.Pansy Wheeler called the meeting to order.

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:March 21, 11:20 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Starlite Drive. — Earl Graff, 72, Crescent, driving a 2017 Toyota Prius, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.
