Jeannetta Kottwitz
Jeannetta J. Kottwitz passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, at Countrywood Assisted Living Center at the age of 79.
Jeannetta was born May 30, 1940, in Kingfisher to Joseph and Joyce Ziegelgruber Ellyson.
A longtime resident of Kingfisher, Jeannetta attended the Federated Church, graduated from Kingfisher High School and received an associate’s degree from Redlands Community College.
She spent her working years in the banking business being employed at KB&T, which later became BancFirst, and retiring from NBC Oklahoma.
On Dec. 31, 1979, Jeannetta married Monroe Kottwitz.
Her husband preceded her in death along with her parents, Joseph and Joyce Ellyson.
Jeannetta is survived by one sister, Clairetta and husband Wayne Lowe of Kingfisher; her three children Mark and wife Lynn Wendt of Kingfisher, Sheila and husband Mark Redwine of Kingfisher, and Dawn and husband Jim Tillison of Ada; grandchildren Heath Redwine, Drew Redwine, Kaci Murray, Kari Cooper, Lauren Niblett, James Tillison, and Jakob Tillison; great-grandchildren Kye, Kru, Conway, Emma, Brooklyn, Camryn, Scarlett, and Annie Kate.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was Sept. 19 at the Kingfisher Cemetery with Chaplin Ron Horn officiating.
