Karlee Harviston picked up in Okeene where she left off in Enid.

The Dover senior scored 28 points Tuesday in a 6524 road rout of Okeene.

The outburst came just three days after she poured in 32 points in her team’s victory over Garber in the Skeltur Conference Tournament.

In that win, Harviston was a big factor throughout, but huge in the second half.

At Okeene, she did much of her damage in the first half.

She put eight points on the board as Dover staked a 17-2 run in the first quarter.

Harviston really heated up in the second.

She made three 3-pointers and scored 17 points in the quarter as Dover extended its lead to 28 points.

Ashley Gamez was also a big contributor in the first half.

She scored seven in the first quarter and nine of her 14 in the first two quarters.

The Lady Longhorns, who moved to 20-0 on the season, saw Katelyn Harviston add 13 more. She scored nine in the second half.

Longhorns step up in 4th

A dominant fourth quarter Tuesday helped Dover avoid a three-game losing streak.

The Longhorns outscored Okeene 18-3 down the stretch to pull out a 41-23 road win.

After staking a seven- point halftime lead, the Longhorns saw it cut to three as Okeene’s Lincoln Feely scored all 10 of his team’s points in the third.

Dover only managed six, but found more offense in the final eight minutes.

Lucas Conrady scored eight and Casen Buck six more as the Longhorns extended their lead.

Feely didn’t score in the fourth and the Whippets had just one field goal in the quarter.

Dover held Okeene to 10 points in the first half to build its early lead.

Conrady scored 10 points in the half.

He finished with 21 while Buck scored nine.

The Longhorns moved to 12-8 on the season.
