Accident south of Loyal claims Meeker truck driver

A Meeker truck driver died Sunday evening after crashing south of Loyal.Aaron C. Standlee, 42, was pronounced dead by Kingfisher EMS at the scene of the one-vehicle accident, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

KPS brings back 3 educators with hirings

Three educators are returning to Kingfisher after brief stints away from the district.Hired Monday were Kerri Lafferty, Madison (Schaefer) Andrews and Nicole Kippenberger.They were approved during the Kingfisher Board of Education’s final regular meeting of the 2024-25 fiscal year.
