Okarche REAL Warriors of January 2025 were recently announced. Each month, students at Okarche Elementary School are recognized for a good character trait. In the month of January, the character trait was “sportsmanship.” REAL is an acronym for Respect, Effort, Attitude and Leadership.

Fall semester honor rolls at Northwestern Oklahoma State University have been announced by the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.Those on the President’s Honor Roll earned all A’s, or a 4.0 grade point average (GPA), in a minimum of 12 undergraduate or nine graduate hours.

Pressley Page is now a two-time state champion while Paxton Terrell has won for the fi rst time. The two Kingfi sher students won their respective divisions last Saturday at the Elks Hoop Shoot state competition in Dale.
