The Sts. Peter & Paul youth group is planning its annual “trick or treat” food drive to benefit the Kingfisher County Food Bank.Youth will be collecting items from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25.Those wishing to donate can leave non-perishable food items at their door and leave on their porch light.

The Oklahoma Press Association and the state’s attorney general are hosting a series of seminars regarding open meetings and open records.The free seminars will include one in Enid on Monday, Oct. 30.It will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the Autry Technology Center, Room 201.

An update to the school district’s drug testing policy was approved last Monday by the Kingfisher Board of Education.The update was made largely to prevent students from taking advantage of some cracks in the previous policy, according to KHS Principal John Harris.
