County road, bridge funding on ballot

Kingfisher County voters will decide the fate of continuing a one-half cent sales tax on Tuesday, Aug. 8.The proceeds of the tax will be designated for county roads and bridges for five more years beginning Jan. 1, 2024.

County commissioners’ vote paves way for new parking lot

Kingfisher County commissioners awarded a contract to North End Construction of Norman Monday for the construction of a new parking lot at the courthouse.North End Construction was the low bidder on the project at $139,948 at the bid opening in June.
