Quick work made of county agenda

Kingfisher County commissioners handled a number of routine actions related to the start of the new fiscal year at Monday’s weekly meeting.

Hennessey town trustees tabled hiring an interim town administrator during a special meeting Tuesday night.That action came after two hours in an executive session with more than an hour spent with the only candidate listed on the agenda, Nancy Ledford.

The Kingfisher Golf Association continues to provide for local charities and service groups.The association recently presented checks to two groups that provide food for those in need.Checks of $2,000 were presented to the Kingfisher County Food Bank and to Kingfisher County Meals on Wheels.
