OBI plans pair of local blood drives later this month

Our Blood Institute (OBI) will hold a pair of local drives later this month in Kingfisher.One is April 26 at Kingfi sher High School. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.The other is April 28 at Kingfisher Corner Nutrition. The Bloodmobile will be mobilized from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cashion, Loyal hold town hall elections

Two Kingfisher County municipalities – Cashion and Loyal – held statutorily-authorized town hall meetings to elect officials Tuesday, saving the expense of printing ballots, opening a polling place and hiring election workers.

Six Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.Joining the local civic group were Andrew Rednose, Daniel Garcia, Nicholas Tramel, Coleman Kitchens, Landon Livingston and Kale Westfahl.Rednose is the son of Chelsey and Andy Rednose.
