Biden initiative has leaders concerned about local effect

Kingfisher County Commissioners reported Monday a meeting was planned for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Autry Technology Center in Enid regarding the effect of President Joe Biden’s “30 by 30” initiative on western Oklahoma.

Early voting starts Thursday

Early voting begins this week for the April 4 board of education and municipal elections.The early voting period is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 30, and Friday, March 31, at the MACenter Building at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.There is no early voting on Saturday or next Monday.
