After considering more than 40 candidates from across the nation, the Oklahoma Broadband Governing Board has voted unanimously to hire former Oklahoma State Representative Mike Sanders as executive director of the Oklahoma Broadband Office.

Kingfisher High School is requesting nominations for the 2023 KHS Hall of Fame inductees.Created in 1986 to honor the achievements of past graduates, the hall of fame will induct up to four new members each year, including either KHS graduates or administrators or faculty.

The Hennessey United Association board hosted teens Brooklyn Harris and Landon Lopez at its Thursday, March 16, meeting at the Wellness Mercantile.Those two HHS sophomores are part of a state Youth Action for Health Leadership (YAHL) program.
