Redlands Community College recently announced students named to the college’s honor rolls for the Fall 2022 semester.Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll have completed 12 or more credit hours and have earned a GPA of not less than 3.

State Sen. Darcy Jech and State Rep. Mike Dobrinski were the guests speakers of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last Tuesday.The two fielded questions from the membership for most of the meeting.They noted the 2023 session begins Feb.

Lomega High School’s fall 2022 Students of the Semester were reognized earlier this month at the Lomega Lions Club meeting.Named to the honor were Madi Myers and Kelby Ott.Myers is the daughter of Mike and Julie Myers.She is active in basketball, track, cross country, Student Council and FFA.

Kingfisher High School Student Council will be collecting pop tabs.At the end of the semester, members will be taking them to the Ronald Mc-Donald House for their charity.“We have drop-off containers at all of the district schools,” said Amy Pearson, KHS Student Council co-adviser.

Dover FFA competed Nov. 8, 2022, in the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Interscholastics. Dover’s meat team brought home the bacon by winning first overall at OPSU. Two of the team members, Damion Turner (right) and Evelyn Chavez (left), were announced the highest individuals.
