Beynon Sports Surfaces got the bid to replace Hennessey’s unusable track because school board members felt the company used products that were better than the other bidder.Beynon also offered a 10-year warranty instead of five years on the bid by Hellas Construction.

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, American Legion Post No. 5 and its auxiliary will be hosting breakfast.All area active duty military and reserve members, as well as veterans, are invited to attend the breakfast from 7:30- 9 a.m. Thursday at the Kingfisher Elks Lodge.
