LeeAnn LaFave Swanson left this earth on June 13, 2020, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. At the time of her passing, she resided in Colorado Springs, Colo., but had lived in several cities in Texas and Oklahoma throughout her very full life.

Jo Ellen Voss, beloved wife, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away June 9, 2020, at her home in Edmond. Jo Ellen was born July 19, 1941, in El Reno, the daughter of John and Margaret (Sherman) Wier. She graduated from Loyal High School.

Patricia ‘Patsy’ Bussard

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Bussard, 72. She passed away of complications from COPD and congestive heart failure on June 11, 2020, just seven days shy of her 73rd birthday.

Scott Christopher Maschino entered this world on May 22, 1969, in Okarche, the son of Jerome and Carholine Maschino. He was baptized at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and graduated from Okarche High School in 1988. After graduating, Scott moved to Houston, Texas, to go to school for mechanics.

Billie Dolores Bullard Lovell died Monday, June 1, 2020, at her home in Hennessey. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at First United Methodist Church in Hennessey officiated by Rev. P.J. Stewart. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Melvina Kay (Liebl) Lochner died peacefully in her sleep on June 2, 2020, in Atlanta, Ga. Mel was born Oct. 14, 1943, in Enid to August “Gus” and Hildred “Midge” (Davis) Liebl and had one older brother, Robert “Bob” Liebl.

Sean West McAlvain, 46, Oklahoma City, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born June 28, 1973, in Kingfisher to Johnny and Alice “Midge” (West) McAlvain. Sean was a 1991 graduate of Kingfisher High School and worked as a cook in Oklahoma City.

Jeanette Sain

Jeanette Rose Sain was born April 23, 1935, in Kingfisher. She was the last of five children born to Jay and Helen Sain. Jeanette passed away May 12, 2020, in Corsicana, Texas, shortly after her long time friend, Janice Elder. She was 85. Jeanette attended St.

Ervin Willms

The Kingfisher community lost one of the most honest, hardworking men anyone could ever know. Ervin August Willms passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Nov. 10, 1927, to Wilhelm and Martha (Schroeder) Willms, he was the second eldest of nine children.

Miranda ‘Mandy’ Smith
