Faye Etta Hawkins Strain passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, with her husband laying by her side and her son Rodney holding her hand and many other family members by her side.She was born April 24, 1946, to Floyd and Vivian Hawkins in Kingfisher.

Rita Margaret Kolar of Midwest City died peacefully Thursday, March 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.Born in El Reno on April 5, 1945, to Lawrence and Elizabeth Reherman, Rita was the second of six children and grew up on her family’s dairy farm.

Kimberly Rachell Bocksnick passed away at home on March 27, 2025.She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Allen Pierson, and her mother, Karen Lucille Cornell.

Madalea Joy (Adams) Russell was born on Feb. 1, 1938, to William Newton and Leola (Ellis) Adams in Guthrie.She passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Kingfisher at Cimarron Nursing Center at the age of 87.Madalea attended Benedictine Heights Schools in Guthrie and graduated in 1956.

Pat “Patsy” Lee Leedy was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Whittier, Calif., to Harry and Dorrys (Bordelon) McPheeters. She returned home to her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2025, in Kingfisher.Pat grew up in Houston, Texas, with her parents and two sisters, Barbara Ann and Nikki.

Linda Borelli, 85, longtime resident of Kingfisher, died Saturday March 15, 2025, in Kingfisher.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher with Father Benjamin Lwin officiating.Burial will follow at Kingfisher Cemetery.

Gary Stinebring, Sr., 82, was born at Rosie’s Corner, Sefton Township, Ill., on June 3, 1942, to Elmer Forrest and Virginia Grace Turner Stinebring and died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at his home in Hennessey surrounded by his family.There will be no services at Gary’s request.

Emmitt Jay Branson, 90, died Feb. 26, 2025, from natural causes at his home in Crescent. He was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Cashion to Luther and Winifred Branson. Emmitt worked for Vieth Brothers as a farmhand and mechanic in high school before his military service in the U.S. Army.

The funeral for Frederick James Rourke, 89 was Tuesday, March 4, at First Christian Church of Hennessey officiated by Rev. Ish Engle and Rev. Grant Curtis.Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Kay Lynn Davis, 79, of Billings, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. Born on Jan. 14, 1946, to Martin Daniel Kingery and Ellen Fern Holmes Kingery, Kay grew up in Billings, where she always maintained she had a perfect childhood.
