David Michael Kretchmar, 75, passed away Feb. 18, 2022, in Oklahoma City. He was born June 18, 1946, in El Reno.Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the Church of Christ in Kingfisher with burial following at Kingfisher Cemetery.

Ervin Frank Young was born to Roy Alonzo Young and Opal Erie Doss on Dec. 1, 1935, in Elk City.He was raised in the Erick and Sayre area.Ervin attended school in Erick where he graduated high school in 1955. He attended college in Stillwater for a year then transferred to school in Weatherford.

Gorden Ernest Kuehl went to be with the Lord on Feb. 8, 2022, at the age of 79.After several months of declining health, Gorden died peacefully at home with his beloved wife Betty, daughter Laura and family by his side.He was born to Clarence William Kuehl and Martha Jane Preston on Nov.

Doris Lea Cronkhite was born Thursday, Jan. 1, 1942, to Leroy Alexander and Iva Caroline (Randall) Townsend in Kingfisher.She passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, in Seiling.Doris grew up in Dover with her two siblings, Carolyn and Max. She graduated in 1960 from Dover High School.

The funeral for Greg Shafer, 61, was Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Dover Christian Church and officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile.Greg was born in Enid on July 8, 1960, to James L. and Marye L. Osborn Shafer and died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022.He was a member of Dover Christian Church.

David Thompson Moss, 74, peacefully took his last breath on Jan. 29, 2022, in Tucson, Ariz., two years after being diagnosed with brain cancer.David was born April 4, 1947, in Kingfisher and after graduating from the University of Oklahoma, he married Shirley Beckel in 1970.He served in the U.S.

Robert “Bob” Quinton Martin, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Yukon on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.Bob was born March 24, 1957, in Hereford, Texas, to Richard and Elsie Martin.He attended school in Yukon, where he graduated from Yukon High School in 1975.

James M. “Jimmy” Carter Jr., 80, of Kingfisher, passed away Jan. 30, 2022.Services were Saturday, Feb. 5, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. Burial followed at Kingfisher Cemetery.Jimmy was born April 1, 1941, to James and Mildred (Webber) Carter.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend joined other family members in their Heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022.Floris Bonita Watson Weber was born on March 8, 1931, to Lynn Cyril Watson and Ruth Inez Ward Watson in Crescent.

The funeral for Norma Lee States, 90, was Saturday, Jan. 29, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
