Lois Kochenower, 91, former Kingfisher resident, passed away Jan. 28, 2022 in Joplin, Mo.Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 4, at Kingfisher First Baptist Church.Viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home (1612 S. Main St.) on Thursday, February 3 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Lifetime resident of Kingfisher, James M. “Jimmy” Carter, 80, passed away on Jan. 30, 2022.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, and services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.

Dorothy M. (Alexander) Caulk was born to James and Viola (Rutz) Alexander in Longdale on May 28, 1926, and died peacefully on Jan. 26, 2022, at the age of 95.Dorothy grew up on a farm southeast of Canton and graduated from Canton Public School in 1945.

Maydonna Goetzinger States was born Sept. 24, 1933, on a farm northwest of Dover to John P. and Ruth Gorrell Goetzinger and died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Ada.She was 88. Maydonna attended all 12 years at Dover Schools and graduated in 1951.

Dorothy Carol Pratt, 85, was called to Heaven on Jan. 25, 2022, after a battle with cancer.She was born Oct. 7, 1936, to Theo and Ethel Thomsen.Carol married the love of her life, Delbert Pratt, on Nov. 19, 1954. From this union they had two children: Sherrie and Ronnie.

John C. Stangl died Jan. 26, 2022, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. Graveside services for the family will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche with Rev. Francis Nguyen officiating.He will lie in state at Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno on Sunday, Jan.

Ernestine Ethel Payne peacefully passed away in Crescent with her son and daughter-in-law at her side on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at the age of 82 and after a short, courageous battle with cancer.Ernestine was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Kingfisher to Erny and Ethel Ellyson.

Deborah Lynn (Sessions) Major was born Nov. 26, 1956, in Anadarko and passed away Jan. 25, 2022, in Kingfisher.On May 14, 1976, she married Stanley Major in Kingfisher.Deborah worked various jobs throughout her lifetime.

Judy Ann Baker was born in Loyal to Julius and Marie Walter on Jan. 29, 1940.Judy passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at the age of 81.She grew up in Kingfisher and graduated from Kingfisher High School.
