The Christian funeral and burial of Judith Ann Heald, 77, of Okarche, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Okarche, with Reverend Dr. Chris Davis officiating.Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Delma Sue Grishow was born Oct. 28, 1931, southeast of Greenfield to Ledrue and Virgie Cheek Chapman and passed away Jan. 17, 2022, at her daughter and son-in-law’s, Deborah and Johnny Jirik, country home in Cashion, having reached the age of 90 years.Sue was born and raised on the family farm.

Ladye Travis “Bootsie” Brown, Hennessey, passed away on Jan. 14, 2022. She was 96 years old.Bootsie was born on Dec. 22, 1925, to Samuel Travis and Mickey Ruth (Wright) Greene in Terrell, Texas, where she grew up and graduated from high school at the age of 16.She married J.W.

On Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2022, Steven Edward Sigl, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 58.Steven was born May 10, 1963, in Kingfisher to Leo and Mildred Sigl.On Sept. 12, 1992, he married Kimberly Allen.

Judy Ann Baker was born in Loyal to Julius and Marie Walter on Jan. 29, 1940.She passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at the age of 81Judy grew up in Kingfisher and graduated from Kingfisher High School.She was a simple, very positive lady who took care of her family.

Lois Joann Backhaus was welcomed into this world by her parents, George J. and Hilda Johnson, on June 28, 1933, in Lahoma.Lois grew up on the family farm in Kingfisher alongside her two siblings, Verona June and Verdean Johnson.

Florene (Beckner) Jacobs was born at home on Jan. 21, 1931, in Piedmont to G.W. (Pete) Beckner and Mabel Beckner.She grew up on a farm with her brother, Ralph. Florene attended Piedmont High School and upon graduation she trained at a comprehensive trade school.

Stanley C. Frederick, 86, of Moore, died peacefully on Jan. 11, 2022, surrounded by his children.Born March 1935, in Okarche, he was predeceased by his wife, Janis, and his parents Clarence and Ruth Frederick.
