RANDALL SAINTS – Kingfisher’s Chase Davis signs to play basketball at Randall University in Moore. Davis was the Class 4A state tournament MVP as he helped lead the Jackets to the Class 4A state title. He also earned OCA All-State honors. He’s seated with his mother, Lindsay Kopp.

The Kingfisher High School girls tallied 40 points to take seventh in the Class 4A state track and field meet last weekend in Catoosa.

A rain-delayed Class 4A girls state golf tournament ended Friday on a battered and soaked track at Cushing’s Buffalo Rock Golf Course.When the final putt had dropped, both of Kingfisher’s golfers finished in the top-half of the field.Raegan Snider finished tied for 16th with a two-day total of 187.

Duffy has historic run for Lomega

Owen Duffy made history in multiple ways last weekend.The Lomega High School junior became the first sprinter from the school to win a state championship.Duffy won the 200 meter dash Saturday at the Class A state track and field championships at Western Heights when he crossed the finish line in 22.
