Weather impacts show schedule

The schedule for the Kingfisher County Spring Livestock Show has been modified to accommodate expected extreme weather conditions. Originally scheduled to be completed this weekend, the schedule has been modified to bracket the worst period of the anticipated weather system.

The Oklahoma State University horse judging team capped off another successful season at the 2020 AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City late last year. It was the fourth time in the past six years the team has won the world champion title and it featured a Kingfisher High School alumna.

OSU releases fall 2020 honor rolls

A total of 8,004 students were named to the 2020 fall semester honor rolls at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 3,449 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an A grade in all their courses.

Hennessey High School’s graduating class of 2021 is accepting nominations until Monday, March 1, for the HHS Hall of Fame awards. Two winners will be selected by the class and will be honored during this year’s graduation ceremony.
