Southwestern Oklahoma State University reminds students and area residents about several date changes on the Weatherford and Sayre campuses. Classes meet as usual on Nov. 23 and 24, the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving break. After Thanksgiving Break, all classes transition to virtual.

The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: November 4, 4:35 p.m. At West Overstreet Avenue and Ridge Crest Drive. A 16-year-old driver, Hennessey, driving a 2002 Dodge, was eastbound on West Overstreet Avenue.

Virginia Reiswig passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at the age of 89, exactly one month before her 90th birthday. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be greatly missed. Virginia Lee Ahlden Reiswig was born Dec.
