Kingfisher’s Henry to run for RCC

Kingfisher High School senior Jon Henry didn’t get to compete in his final track season, but he’s got more running to do. Henry last week signed to run cross country at Redlands Community College in El Reno. RCC competed in its inaugural season in 2019 and is coached by Natalie Cox.

Hennessey library starts curb service Monday

Beginning Monday, April 27, the Hennessey Public Library will offer curbside service, but continues to be closed to the public due to the COVID-19 virus. Patrons should make lists of what they want to check out and reserve them on their online account, or call the library (405-853-2073) from 9 a.m.

MHK among pipeline company donation recipients

Midship Pipeline announced last week a donation of $21,000 to seven county hospitals located along the pipeline’s route. Mercy Hospital Kingfisher will be a recipient of one of the $3,000 donations.

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports: April 13 - Harassment. Officer Charles Trout took a report of harassment and stalking. April 14 - Burglary-second degree (automobile).
