Rotary hosts quartet of KHS seniors

Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests last week of the Kingfi sher Rotary Club. Joining the civic group at its weekly luncheon were Sierra Townsend, Irelyn Schemmer, Skyler Compton and Itzel Velarde. Townsendisthedaughter of Ron and Julie Townsend.

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following report: October 21 - Forgery. Officer Justin Conner took a report regarding bank fraud.

Traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department.October 18, 1:50 p.m. - At 701 N. Main St. Omoniyi Olajide, 44, Oklahoma City, driving a 2008 Freightliner, was parked on the east side of Double D’s convenience store.

More businesses than ever participated in this year’s fall decorating contest sponsored by the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce. Winners include Kingfisher Memorial Library, first place; Solomon Abstract Co., second place; and The Pink Zebra, third place.
