Jake Sisk played the role of hero Thursday for the Kingfisher seventh grade football team. Sisk kicked a 21-yard field goal with five seconds remaining on his home field to lift the Jackets to a 9-6 victory over Perkins-Tryon.

Beverly Jo Bird, 79, of Oklahoma City passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2019. Beverly is survived by her brother Sid Espinosa and his wife Debbie, grandson Justin McGee, two nephews and four nieces.
