I’ve been pretty involved getting ready to ship some cattle to the sale barn; it’s been heavy on my feeble mind.

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
August 19 - Possession of marijuana. According to the report, Officer Jason East was advised of a greenhouse being constructed with visible marijuana plants inside located in the 100 block of West Fay Avenue.
On Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, Lois Matti, loving wife of Junior Matti, passed away at the age of 89 at Cimarron Nursing Center.
Lois was born Aug. 12, 1930, in Fay, and was raised in the Fay-Thomas communities.
Gertrude “Trudy” Wells, 86, of Kingfisher, died Sept. 5, 2019, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.
Trudy was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Belgrade, Minn., to William Wiebe and Louise (Scheffraneck) Wiebe. She was the third of five children, to include Henry, Helen, Bob and Carmen.
A Stuart man is reported in stable condition in an Oklahoma City hospital after a crash early Wednesday morning in Kingfisher County.Billy Jack Taylor, Jr.
Wanda Lea Kughn, 66, Kingfisher, died Sept. 11, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
