Millers to celebrate 25th anniversary

Brian and Sharon Miller of Kingfisher will be honored on their 25th wedding anniversary. The come-and-go party will be 12-3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in the Gathering Room at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher. Lunch will be served at noon.

Annual town-wide clean-up starts Friday in Hennessey. The Town of Hennessey’s annual town-wide cleanup starts Friday, April 26, and ends Sunday, May 5, said Tiffany Tillman, town administrator.

The 2019 National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2, and multiple events are planned this week to observe. The different events are designed for men, women and the area youth. The theme this year is “Love One Another.” There will be a men’s dinner at 7 p.m.
