Kingfisher junior Carter Stephenson is pictured hauling in a pass during that first practice. Teams are only allowed to practice without pads for the first four days before donning the pads on Friday. Kingfi sher has its first scrimmage Aug. 22 at Oklahoma Christian School and then Aug. 28 at Perkins before opening the season Sept. 5 at Weatherford.
