Foes couldn’t keep up with Lomega at any point during the Canton Invitational.

The result was another dominant title for the Lady Raiders.

Arnett was the final victim on Saturday as it gave up an 80-53 decision to the Lady Raiders in the tournament championship.

Lomega outscored foes by an average of 81-41 over the three days.

In the finals, senior Darcy Roberts nearly posted a triple-double in securing most valuable player honors.

The senior scored 24 points to go with 14 rebounds and nine assists.

She had 13 points through three quarters before adding 11 more in the fourth as Lomega closed out Class B’s ninth-ranked Lady Wildcats.

As usual, the topranked Lady Raiders got out to a quick start.

Six different players scored in the first quarter as they got out to a 25-10 lead.

It grew to 46-22 by halftime.

Abby Swart nailed three treys in the second quarter and ended her night with 17.

She was joined on the all-tournament team by Sydni Walker, who scored nine points.

Hadley Ott and Chloe Meier also scored nine in the finals.

Roberts poured in 20 points on the strength of six 3-pointers in Friday’s 78-43 win over Cherokee in the semifinals.

Swart added 17 more while Walker chipped in 12 and Kate Myers 11.

Lomega topped Crescent 84-27 to begin the tournament on Thursday.

Roberts scored 21 of her game-high 26 in the first half. She made seven 3-pointers.

Swart nailed four treys and scored 16.

Lomega had 16 3-pointers as a team.

The Lady Raiders were 8-0 overall after the tournament.

Raiders are runners-up Calumet continues to have Lomega’s number this season.

Class B’s sixth-ranked Chieftains toppled the Raiders for the second time, this time in the finals of the Canton Invitational.

Dalton Belcher and Hunter Arnold combined for 49 points in Calumet’s 71-47 victory on Saturday.

The Raiders were within striking distance at halftime, but Calumet turned its six-point lead into a 55-40 advantage by the end of the third quarter.

Belcher scored 11 of his game-high 29 points during that stretch.

The Raiders put four in double figures.

Lance Yost scored 14 while Kelby Ott nailed four treys for his 12 points.

Owen Duffy scored 11 and Brooks Uhlenhake 10.

Duffy and Ott were joined on the all-tournament team by Chase Burton.

The sophomore poured in six 3-pointers as part of his game-high 24 in Thursday’s 82-67 victory over Arnett.

Lomegamade133-pointers as a team, including three by Ben Marsh, who added 15 points.

Yost chipped in 13 and Duffy 11 in that win while Ott scored eight.

The Raiders got by Crescent 57-44 in the semifinals.

Uhlenhake scored 13 and Yost 12 as they held off a second-half rally.

Crescent got 11 points from C.J. Wilson and 10 from Kade Varner.

The Tigers came back to beat Cherokee 44-36 Saturday for third place.

They were 3-1 overall after the tournament.

Lomega was 5-3.
