Longhorns thump Geary
Dover’s boys got back on the winning track and evened their season record in one night.
The Longhorns played the fifth game in a week and fourth in five days, but had no trouble disposing of Geary in a 64-27 road win on Monday.
Nine different Dover players scored as the Longhorns outpaced the Bison in every quarter.
That included a combined 40-13 showing in the first and third quarters.
Leading the way was Joriaun Caldwell as he nearly single-handedly outscored the Bison.
He poured in 11 in that first quarter and eight in the third and finished with a game-high 25 points.
Damion Turner added 11 points and Emory Norton and Orlando Lozano scored seven points apiece.
Dover had lost two games in a row, but improved to 6-6 with the win.
