Most local runners will converge on Enid Saturday as the OSSAA regional meets take place across the state.

Kingfisher (4A), Hennessey (3A) and Cashion (2A) will run their regional meets at the regional hosted by Oklahoma Bible Academy.

Lomega (2A) travels to Waurika for its regional.

In Waurika, the 2A girls run at 2 p.m. and the boys at 2:45 p.m.

Joining Lomega at the meet will be Bennington, Binger-Oney, Boise City, Boone-Apache, Burns Flat-Dill City, Carnegie, Cheyenne, Colbert, Dibble, Elmore City, Fletcher, Geronimo, Gracemont, Grandfield, Hobart, Hollis, Hydro-Eakly, Lawton Academy, Merritt, Minco, Mountain View-Gotebo, Okeene, Rush Springs, Ryan, Silo, Springer, Southwest Covenant, Sweetwater, Thomas, Tushka, Velma-Alma, Walters, Watonga, Waurika, Wewoka, Wilson and Wynnewood.

In Classes 2A, 3A and 4A, the top-seven teams from each of three regionals will qualify for state.

Also moving on will be the top-seven individuals from non-qualifying teams.

The state meet will be Saturday, Oct. 30, at Edmond Santa Fe High School.

Competing with Cashion for a spot at state on the OBA course will be Balko, Beaver, Billings, Buffalo, Canton, Canute, Carney, Cashion, Cherokee, Cimarron, Covington-Douglas, DCLA, Drummond, Fairview, Fargo-Gage/Ft. Supply, Frontier, Garber, Goodwell/Texhoma, Hammon, Hinton, Hooker, Kremlin-Hillsdale, Laverne, Medford, Mooreland, Pioneer, Pond Creek-Hunter, Ringwood, Sharon-Mutual, Summit Christian, Taloga, Timberlake, Tonkawa, Turpin and Woodland.

The 3A teams competing will be Alva, Chandler, Chisholm, Christian Heritage, Crossings Christian, Heritage Hall, Jones, Little Axe, Luther, Meeker, Oklahoma Christian Academy, Perry, Prague and Sperry.

Joining Kingfisher in the 4A meet will be Anadarko, Bethany, Tulsa Central, Cleveland, Clinton, Cushing, Dewey, Elk City, Mannford, Oklahoma Christian School, Pauls Valley, Perkins-Tryon, Skiatook, Tuttle and Weatherford.

The Class 3A girls run first at 10 a.m., followed by the 3A boys at 10:45 a.m.

Class 4A’s girls run at noon and the boys at 12:45 p.m.

Class 2A girls begin at 2 p.m. while the boys wrap up the meet at 2:45 p.m.
