Commissioners give approval to agreement between sheriff, schools

Kingfisher County commissioners Monday approved agreements between the sheriff’s office and three county schools – Lomega, Dover and Chisholm Trail Technology Center.The agreements will provide a deputy sheriff in each school during the school year – Aug. 1 to May 31, Sheriff Aaron Pitts said.( Ed.

Lenten services continue this month

The annual Lenten Community Service series sponsored by the Kingfisher Ministerial Alliance has begun and will run through April 16.Each of the weekly services will begin at noon - with the exception of the final service on April 16 - and will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 414 Hill Drive.
