While much of Kingfisher County received helpful moisture late last Saturday night, the northern portion also got a dose of damaging winds and hail.Reports of hail up to baseball size east of Hennessey surfaced after the storms.

Kingfisher County commissioners Monday approved agreements between the sheriff’s office and three county schools – Lomega, Dover and Chisholm Trail Technology Center.The agreements will provide a deputy sheriff in each school during the school year – Aug. 1 to May 31, Sheriff Aaron Pitts said.( Ed.
