Five Kingfisher County municipalities – Kingfisher, Okarche, Dover, Loyal and Cashion – as well as Kingfisher County received bigger sales tax checks in August than in August 2022, according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission report.

The descendants of George and Rose Endres gathered Aug. 5-6 at the Kingfisher County Exhibit Building for a reunion. George and Rose had nine children. At the reunion, there were 42 first cousins (pictured left) who gathered. All told, the reunion featured more than 200 family members (top photo).
