Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer Lynda Ozan announced that Oklahoma Centennial Farm Awards have been presented to the owners of three Kingfisher County farms.George and Donna White of Enid own the George and Janice White Farms (three properties) located in the vicinity of Hennessey.

Cashion resident Mary Hasley recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a reception at the Cashion United Methodist Church.Hasley was born on a farm east of Kingfisher and about eight miles northwest of Cashion on Highway 33 on July 10, 1932, to Walter and Sybil Hasley.

The 60th annual Bredel family reunion was held July 23 at the Interbank Community Room in Kingfisher.Hosts for this year’s reunion were the Lawrence Yost and Florine Yost Jindra families.The evening was spent visiting and dining on a covered dish meal.
