Sanders Funeral Service staff honored during OFDA convention
Two Sanders Funeral Service employees were recognized last week for their years of service in the funeral industry.Honored were Richard “Dick” Dunham and Rachael Stallings during the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association Convention & Expo in Norman.

Hennessey FD reports
The following reports were filed by members of the Hennessey Fire Department:Structure fire – Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office notified HPD of a structure fire at S.H. 51 at 1:31 p.m. March 24. Tanker, brush pumper and engine trucks were dispatched, then tanker was canceled.
Traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:March 18, 3:21 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.Dennis Gruntmeir, 70, Kingfisher, driving a 1996 Chevrolet, was in the outside northbound lane of U.S. 81 near the intersection of S.H. 33.
