It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Lee Darrough, 89, who passed away at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026. Chuck will be remembered for his love of family, a generous heart and his unwavering optimism regardless of life’s many ups and downs.

Theresa Mary Berntsen Wilczek passed away peacefully in her sleep on Feb. 2, 2026, at the age of 96.She was born on Jan. 15, 1930, to Henry and Monica Berntsen on the family farm southeast of Loyal, where she lived most of her life.

Dr. Jess Brewer, 88, a longtime veterinarian who practiced in northwest Oklahoma, southern Kansas and the Texas panhandle, passed away peacefully at his home on Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Dr.

Albert M. Kloeppel was born Jan. 16, 1939, in Kingfi sher and passed away surrounded by family on Jan. 8, 2026. He was 86.Albert was the youngest son of John and Hilda (Strack) Kloeppel and was born, raised and lived his entire life on the same farm in Kingfisher.He was a lifelong member of the Sts.

Thomas Patrick Hallren passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, in Oklahoma City. He was born May 24, 1935. Pat was a devoted husband, father and family man, known for his quiet strength and steady presence. He lived his life guided by strong family values and a deep faith in God.
