Helen June Higdon (Blehm) Cline, 82, of Yukon, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, in Yukon.She was born Feb. 23, 1939, in the county of Lawrence, Mo., to Letha Ellen Vanderpool.Helen was raised in Missouri and Cashion by her mother and stepfather, Lawrence George Blehm.

Olin Rising, also known as Dad, Grampa, Grampy and Papa Oilwell, passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, following a brief and unexpected hospitalization.

Memorial service for John Deutschendorf, 74, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Pastor Phillip Wilson.Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.John was born in Cordell on Sept.

Dear Editor,Saturday, Sept. 25, I had the privilege of attending Redfork Days in Dover.I grew up in Dover and have very fond memories of attending Redfork Days as a child, so I was excited to return for this event.

Dorma Lea Hobbs was born April 21, 1930, to Emil and Hazel Boeckman and passed on Sept. 27, 2021.She graduated from Dover High School in 1948 and married the one true love of her life, John D. Hobbs, in 1949.They lived on the farm that was settled by her grandfather in the Land Run.

Albert Marion Mowdy was born on April 5, 1937, and passed away on Sept. 30, 2021.He was a former resident of Kingfisher, before moving to Edmond.He is survived by his wife LoAnn Mowdy, children: Lavern Mowdy, Tracey Clair, Randy Mowdy, Donna Hancock, and Bo Mowdy.Viewing will be from 4-7 p.m.

Vincent Edwin Pribil was born west of Bison to Joe A. and Rose Pribil on July 9, 1927, and died Sept. 23, 2021, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.Funeral Mass was Tuesday, Sept. 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison.Burial followed at Bison Cemetery.

The public is welcome to attend a memorial service for Manuel Segovia Bonilla.The service is 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene.Manuel was born June 20, 1935, in Colorado City, Texas, and died Sunday Sept. 19, 2021, in Kingfisher.
