The last month of data collection for the 2020 Census ends Sept. 30 and not every Kingfisher County resident has been counted, according to online data. Only 55.3% of county residents had self-reported as of Monday, by filling out either an online or mail-in form.

Changes for first Jacket home game

Kingfisher High School will host its home opener for football this Friday and there are a number of details of which fans should be aware. The Jackets will play Weatherford at 7:30 p.m. in a non-district game for both teams.

Makylah and Matthew Henton of Kingfisher announce the birth of their son, Wyatt Ross. Wyatt was born July 15, 2020, in Oklahoma City. He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 22 inches. Maternal grandparents are Diane and Wayne Endres of Kingfisher.

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports: August 15 - Malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Dillon Chaloupek responded to a report of a possible vehicle break-in and vandalism in the 100 block of West Will Rogers.
