Burnham bags 1st golf title

Tristun Burnham can be found working on his golf game practically every day at Kingfisher Golf Course. That work paid off last week with his first career win. Burnham shot an evenpar 72 on July 16 to win the Lake Hefner Junior Tournament, which is part of the South Central PGA Junior Tour.

All-State football game is Saturday

The Oklahoma Football Coaches Association is hosting the All-State football game this weekend. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. It will pit All-State selections from the West against the East.
